We apologize if we have missed you! If you find a dining establishment that meets the guidelines and is not listed, or if a dining establishment is listed but does not meet the guidelines, please notify us or call the American Lung Association at (515) 309-9507.

Smoke-Free Restaurant Guidelines:
  • The inside of the eating establishment must be 100% smoke-free at all times.
  • Restaurants that allow smoking outside can be listed, as long as the inside is 100% smoke-free.
  • Restaurants may not have an adjoining bar where smoking is permitted, unless the bar is separate, fully enclosed, and on a separate ventilation system. Air from this area should be exhausted directly outside and not re-circulated within the building or mixed with the general dilution ventilation for the building.
